And my energetic interpretation of it all

I don’t make any money from Medium, or YouTube, and taking clients is the only way I’m currently bringing in cash. (working on expanging that… stay tuned). If you like what you read or listen to for free on YouTube, sending a little note my way would really mean a lot. I also love your comments!! So leave those too! ❤
Big claims
The astrology this week has been on a bit of a tear.
We’re FINALLY out of retrogrades, difficult conjunctions (aka, awkward pairings with the planets), and most of us seem to have recovered from the long-lasting eclipse whiplash. Astrologers all over the internet are telling us to go, full-steam ahead, into our next projects.
… I disagree.
🤭
We’ve just had a full moon that’s pretty much laid out the changes that need to happen to restore, create, and invite more harmony into our lives. Stirred up from the eclipse energy, lots of little ties in our lives that just weren’t working got shaken loose — and were either passed to gentle hands for repair, or truly laid to rest.
In a grave.
Breakups, friendship reroutes, and a general disruption in ‘your plan’ were aplenty.
While it is true that the planets are all direct this week (meaning nothing is moving in retrograde — a phenomenon that happens when a faster-moving planet catches us to a slower one — and subsequently makes the faster one appear to slow down, stop, and reverse its direction) — in terms of astrology, sure — we’re technically all-systems-go.
But the Astrology can’t account for a few key things:
The current energetic climate of our planet (we affect each other as much as the planets affect us)
New waves of light coming onto the planet through solar flares / etc
The upwelling of yin and yang energy respectively — This happens once in a while: there seems to be a big surge of energy that’s either Yin or Yang in nature. I haven’t figured out how it happens yet — my guess is some sort of collective consciousness wave. When it happens, I feel it, report it, and usually write some sort of article about it. (If you’re on substack and are curious, check me out on Medium and go through my archives :))
So, in terms of astrology, yes, we are all-systems-go. But in terms of the energetics?
We’ve got a little more rest ahead of us.
Sage Gym-Bro Advice
I made this Instagram post last night about the importance of resting between sets. I heard it from a brilliant spiritual teacher-disguised-as-naturopath, who was helping me breathe a little more pause into my life that seems to crave near-constant motion. It’s technically a gymmy-type gym-bro term — you rest in between your sets of energy expenditure in order to allow your muscles to prepare for the next round of weight. In our beautiful, curated, conscious little lives, the rest between sets concept applies on a bigger scale of general consciousness energetics as the majority (87%) of the population heads into summer. (Aka, fasty-fast time).
As I said in my 2025 energy forecast, this is the year where, for a lot of you, projects are going to start coming together. Things are going to start taking off (whee!) and the assistance of either irl people or energetic, spiritual and felt-help will be all the more present.
Which, in short, means we’re headed into a summer that feels full.
Right now, we’re in this beautiful, blessed, liminal space of having a second to breathe before the blooms explode and so do our schedules.
Rest between sets.
Besides, most of us feel a little lost this week anyway. Venus (our planet of love, value, relationships and all things we find beautiful), had been in retrograde for 40 days. Before this round, it hadn’t gone retrograde since 2017(!). As she stations direct again, along with the full moon, we all have a little recalibration to do.
Give yourself a week.
If you’re female, and you track your cycle (which I personally have found to be a game-changer and very conflict-resolving in my general relationship to life), check where you are. If you’re in luteal / pms right now, you might need 10 days. If you’re male-embodied, give yourself 5 days or so — or until you feel inspiration strike.
The astrology isn’t wrong, per say.
We just need a little more time to integrate.
Conserve your energy this week. Get dreamy, write down your ideations of the best-case scenarios possible. Hang out with your pets. Crochet. Watch the world wake up in the mornings, or relish in the quiet as it sleeps at night.
Rest between sets.
In a week or so, it’ll feel like go time.
Let yourself show up with a head full of stars and a full night’s sleep.
If you’re out there reading this, I have so much love for you and am always, always, always so grateful you take the time to read my words!
much love to you all.
Xo.
