Starseeds: on Belonging (Pt I)

I was on a call with my medium recently,

(yes, mediums see mediums too!) and she asked my how I felt when I was “embodying my purpose.”

As I’ve mentioned before — most Starseeds feel a sense of lost-ness or loneliness throughout their journey on earth. And despite the messages that we have to have a driving, overarching purpose to feel fulfilled (a narrative that is true for most earth-based souls), Starseeds fulfill their purpose best when they have created a life for themselves where they feel happy, healthy and well — which creates the environment for them to shine their particular light (i.e., Soul Codes) as brightly as they can. This then allows them to emanate the light (i.e, unique message) they have in the way they’re meant to in order to raise the collective frequency of the planet.

(I wrote more about that here, in this article about Starseeds and Loneliness).

For me, as a Starseed Educator and Guide, my role is a little bit different.

Not only is it in my purpose to shine as bright as I possibly can, like all Starseeds; and create the life conditions around me to support that — (which for me looks like plenty of sunlight, heat, close access to deep nature and a high level of energetic output)…

Part of my purpose is educate other Starseeds about themselves and empower them to live in their full expression so they can help contribute to raising the collective vibration of the planet. I’ve known this for a while It was translated (i.e, I received an energetic download) some years ago when I started to grow my healing practice beyond friends and family.

But how did I feel when I was in my purpose? I was stumped when she asked me the question. “How do I feel when I’m in embodying my purpose as a Starseed educator and guide?” I faltered to reply, and started to babble on about what my purpose was: my role as educator and ‘midwife’ to those who would help bridge the gap from our current state of existence to New Earth. I reiterated what I felt my purpose was, unable to express how I felt while fully embodying it.

This question circled back to me days later as I was listening to the recording (which, may I mention, is one of the beautiful things about getting a reading done online. Recordings for days!)

This time, I decided to sit down with it and do some stream-of-consciousness writing to see what came up.

That Moment Where everything Changes

After some musings about how I felt not in my purpose, the truth surfaced: When I’m fully in my power, embodying my purpose and living to the full expression of my life, I feel like I belong.

Now, I’m not sure about you, but I feel like it’s safe to say that “Starseeds” and “Belonging” are two words that don’t often accompany each other in the same sentence.

Because we haven’t imprinted our souls on Earth, but instead are ‘transplants’ or ‘visitors’ from other galactic foundations, it’s more common that Starseeds spend the entirety of their lives feeling like they just don’t fit in. We feel like despite the work we do, or the friends we keep, or the good we can feel we’re contributing to the world, we simply

don’t

belong.

This is something I had taken as simple fact as a part of the Starseed existence. “We don’t belong, we’ll never belong, and that’s okay. We’re lucky enough to be incarnated at a time where more and more Starseeds are meeting each other so we at least we know we’re not totally alone, even if we feel like isolated weirdos 90% of the time…”

This was the narrative that had felt true to me. But, as I had just shown myself; there was a time I felt like I belonged: When I was doing the one thing that made me feel most in-flow and in alignment with the universe: Educating the world about Starseeds. It didn’t matter in what medium I chose to do it — Doing readings for clients, vending at spiritual fairs, or writing to you like I am now. When I was doing the thing that made me feel in-flow, I felt like I belonged to the greater cosmic heartbeat of Gaia and the ‘big picture’ at large.

An Invitation

Here’s the fun part for you, Starseed: At what point — in which activity in your life, or hobby, or past time, do you feel most in flow with the universe? When do you feel most connected to yourself and the bigger picture? This doesn’t have to feel like you’re fulfilling a particular purpose. Again, for most Starseeds, their purpose is to raise the vibration of the planet by emanating their particular soul frequency and spreading love by being their fullest, most authentic selves. So what activity makes you feel good? Happy? What activity would you be happy to do, no matter the weather, season or time of day?

Sit with this for a moment.

And then do more of that thing. For Starseeds who generally feel like they lack a sense of purpose and belonging, the world can feel like a harsh, lonely, desolate place. Believe me. I spent years wondering why I was here, and asking the universe “how much longer do I really have to be here?”

And truthfully, part of that feeling may never go away. But my guiding light is the deep sense of connection and belonging with the bigger picture I get when I’m doin’ my Starseed-educatin’ thing.

What is it that you enjoy doing?

Blessings,

Kate
