I’ve been asking myself that same question.

I work as a Healer and a Guide. I take clients, give readings, host workshops, and am working on a series of artworks to release for Starseed-centered clothing.

It sounds pretty busy, right?
Pretty full-on, pretty non-stop?

I must be making loads of money, because I’m aligned with my soul purpose and I’m fully embodying what I’m mean to be doing in this lifetime.

Right?

…Right?

The funny thing about being a servant to the Universe (which is my embodied soul-role for this lifetime, and one that I am completely, 100% committed to), is that along with being given intuitive nudges about what I should be doing, how I can better serve the collective, or what needs to come out of me to be aligned with my soul, I still have to work through all the human-level blocks that come with me: being a human, born to a lineage, in this lifetime.

That means that although I know (deeply) that I am going to be highly successful at my work (I have to be, otherwise I wouldn’t have been asked to embody this role in this lifetime — I think I would have had just as much fun being a really kooky music teacher getting summers off), I still have to smash blocks that come with learned fears of speaking up, being seen, and becoming highly successful without being paralyzed by the fear of rejection by my tribe (i.e., you).

It also means that I have familial blocks to overcome, as well as transcending individual barriers and family beliefs around money.

So, I’ve been working on that.

I’ve also been rebranding.

I changed my profile name (Look to the top right hand corner!) to my
real, birth-given, full name: Kate Lightstone.

It sounds hilarious, but I was terrified to change my business name to something that was directly attached to me. Visions of drownings, and burnings, and stonings, oh my.

On a more concrete level, apart from my galactic origins, I come from a long line of seers from the Avalonian lineage that runs from the UK across Newfoundland and down from the maritimes. This lineage was rich witch witches and healers, many of which were, erm, “eradicated” during the witch trials of the 1600s. Remember Salem? That’s on the Eastern Seaboard of the U.S., as part of the same geographic and energetic line. So aside from the fears of being too woo-woo for my people with my overtly galactic roots, I also embody some very real inherited trauma that I have to clear.

Part of that clearing involves speaking about it, which is why what you’re reading today is a little more personal than my usual informative. (Although I hope it still resonates with you in a helpful way).

In my process of clearing all this being seen, being heard, and being authentically witnessed as me-myself-and-I, I’ve moved from the buzzing surf town of Tofino, BC (where I live part of the year) back to my deep, heavy homeland of the Maritimes. It’s here that I’m rebranding — using my own name, and *finally* hiring help to help me get some of my long awaited programs and courses off the ground. (Who knew things could get so organized with just a little help?! All hyper-independent women who think they’re supposed to do it alone, raise their hands, please)!

So here we are: I’ve moved over 6,000kms, living in a short-term rental on a farm in the quiet southeastern coast of Nova Scotia. I’m taking courses, working with my *new* assistant, and working on a complete logo-website-identity overhaul.

As a result, I haven’t been super present on social media. I haven’t been running my usual workshops, or been calling in clients for readings like I usually do. I’m working … behind the scenes. This, for a Virgo-Libra-Cap, (with mercury in virgo, too), doesn’t feel like I’m really “working”. I’m not connecting with my people the way I usually do, or “serving” in a way that feels good to me. Doing all this behind-the-scenes stuff just feels like a lot of puttering around without a lot of real results. (Silly, I know!)

I know, deeply, that this is an absolute garbage belief — and that the energy I’m putting into my shifting identity now will fuel me for years to come. Telling that to a brain that loves immediate results, and that isn’t great at looking at the long-term — unless they can see it drawn out in front of them, howeer, has been…. Challenging.

To say the least.

But, I’m working through it. Because frankly, I love what I do.

Now, here comes the fun part.

Of all my platforms on social media — Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, I have found that the most of my people live here, on Medium.com.

I am a voracious reader.
I am an absorber of information.

And frankly, of all the woo-woo spiritual energy that’s out there about what’s happening galactically, energetically, and ascensionally (is that a word?) — I have found my most conscious, grounded spiritual community to be here.

And so, I wanted to offer my readers on Medium something special. This isn’t a “Get it while it’s hot!” kind of thing, nor is it a “while supplies last” kind of gimmick. It’s just me, on my favourite platform, reaching out to my audience for some… help. Because all of my energy has been focused internally, I haven’t exactly been… flowing on the client front. So I’ve decided to do a little special. Just for you folks, just for my readers on Medium. I’m even going to use a fun little code word, “Ribbit” (something-something about frog energy and the throat chakra, I’ll let you know in the comments if you ask!) to activate the offer. Yes, you could just say “hey, I read your article on medium.com and I want to book a reading,” but what fun is that? Besides, it’s October! Witches and ghouls and toads and such!

Anyway. I usually offer my 60-minute readings at the price of $150USD, and my 90-minute readings at $202USD.
