The Starseed Collective — Lesson #1

Contrary to popular belief, I’m kind of a shy person.

I love concerts, but I don’t like the crowds. I love hiking; especially when you don’t run into others. I do like people, though. And, of course, as I’ve learned over the past few years of this journey of running a solo-preneur business, you need to, well, put yourself in the proverbial ring of humanness and communications in order to thrive.

And so, here we are.

This past tuesday, we had our first starseed class (yay!) and although we were an intimate group, I would consider it a roaring success. You know why?

Because for two hours of the week, there were other souls connected online that were together, live, in a group, sharing their experiences of being highly-sensitive and intuitive souls on this planet.

Here’s some of the common themes that were shared across the board:

1. LONELINESS.

Every single person in the group (myself included) resonated with the feelings of deep loneliness that comes from being a starseed here on earth. I have a little three-part writing series on this (Called Starseed Loneliness, you can find that here), but the basic gist of it all is that as Starseeds, we came down here to help Mother Earth / Mama Gaia out during this deeply ascensional time on this planet.

It’s not an easy time to be alive. But it is essential that we’re here. Because Starseeds are unique in the fact that we tend to be a little more conscious of our soul-existence (living as light-consciousness that just happen to be in Human bodies), we tend to stand out a little more obviously. It’s unavoidable. We’re here to bring the lantern to the ceremony of darkness. How are we going to be recognizable as a lantern if we don’t stand out?

This also seemed to apply across the board in regards to Family of origin. For everyone in attendance in class, there was a collective mmhm in regards to feeling like the oddball in their birth families. Oftentimes, starseeds (and all lightworkers, really), are here to pull the collective fabric forwards by shaking things up in their families of origin. This makes things feel even more ostracizing when we feel we’re supposed to be connected to those we’re related to by blood. In White, North-American culture, especially (the culture I grew up in and one half of my family dynamic), there seems to be less grounded, rooted ties to the fact that family is something that is meant to feel safe, accepting, and Home-like, regardless of how you present or what you pursue in this fragile Human life. It’s hard. It’s partially why I started running The Starseed Collective and offering online classes — so that we can build our own sense of home and community, together.

2. BODIES ARE WEIRD.

This was another sentiment felt across the board.

As souls that *usually* spent a lot of our lifetimes elsewhere (even if we’ve been to Earth often before), the concept of being in a human body, is, well, weird.

Human bodies are squishy. They’re fleshy. They come in all sorts of different sizes, shapes, and appearances (despite what the health & wellness industries want us to think),And not all of them come with all the working parts (visible or not). Our brains are all wired a little uniquely, and of course, the colour that your human body came in can cause all sorts of problems ranging from mean kids on the playground to basic safety.

It’s weird.

Racism isn’t really a thing in the galactic realms. Neither is the beauty industry.

Part of the curriculum in the Starseed Collective is to learn how we can use our bodies (moving energy) in order to make ourselves feel more safe, balanced, and at Home.

It’s not perfect, being in a human body. But it can be beautiful, interesting and fun!

3. Energetics hit different in the Southern Hemisphere

This was something I’d considered before but never really put words to until Tuesday night’s class. One of our attendees was a soul from Australia — and as I was channeling for the Collective (Collective updates are part of every call), I realized that what was applicable for the collective in the Northern Hemisphere, was … reflected down South.

The message that came through was this: If you live in the Southern Hemisphere (Australia, NZ, anywhere in the South Pacific) — what’s coming in for the Collective up North may manifest itself in the people around you — and not specifically within you as a unique individual. You may notice waves that happen with friends and family, but the messages that come through for the collective at large may not hit with resonance to you directly. Working together with this Soul from Down Under, we realized this effect happened as a result of something akin to Global Harmonics and Balance. The Northern Hemisphere might be “going through it,” while the South … they’re observing. Despite the turmoil we might feel is surrounding us, there is always balance present. Very on-brand for Libra season, thank you.

All in all, I would consider Starseed Class #1 a success. If you want to be part of next week’s class, you can sign up here!

And, of course, if there are any topics you want to explore or have addressed during class, leave them in the comments below.

Hope to see you next week!

All my love to you all,

❤ Kate
