I have been recording energy forecasts on youtube since 2020.
They’re not overly popular,
they’re not watched by many people,
and it takes me 3 straight hours of positive self-motivation to muster up the confidence and focus to prepare, record, attain accurate lighting, shoot in focus (I’ve shot entire videos that is just slightly out of focus; more than once), remember to turn on my mic, clear the energy and the space, and shoot the damn thing.
in other words, it’s tedious.
So why do I continue to record these videos?
Honestly, I have no idea.
Perhaps it’s because when it all comes down to it, I have a message to share with others. And although it seems obvious that my more resonant audience is here, on medium (thank you for being here, really), I haven’t quite been able to let go of a thing I’ve been working on for the past four years.
And so here we are.
