A short note on Eclipse Season

The time when everyone starts to doubt everything in existence

I don’t make any money from Medium, or YouTube, and taking clients is the only way I’m currently bringing in cash. (working on expanging that… stay tuned). If you like what you read or listen to for free on YouTube, sending a little note my way would really mean a lot. I also love your comments!! So leave those too! ❤

Eclipse season is the time where we start to doubt — a lot.

The intense alignment of the planets (both Lunar and Solar, back-to-back), cause us to feel like we all of a sudden have no idea in which direction we’re headed and to top it off, we’ve lost our shoes.

It’s not a time to jump forward, to make big plans, to suddenly decide the career you’ve chosen is wrong and will never actually work for you (*ahem, over here*).

Not the time for that.

It is, however, the time to remember this:

No separation

As we navigate the shifting energies on the planet — the waves of release and purge and HEALING (if we allow it), it’s more important than ever that we remember while we are in the midst of whatever we’re flowing through, there is no separation from “Me” to “them”.

We are all going through it. We are all experiencing highs and lows. We are all feeling loss, fear, anxiety — as well as a bursting open of our potential right now.

But the person who’s triggering you — the client who doesn’t seem to get it — the family member who offers well-meaning but completely inept advice to your situation — they’re on this ride with us.

As soon as we start positioning our experience as “separate” than others, we’ve lost.

As soon as we’re putting ourselves in a camp of feeling “other” than our neighbour, our triggers, our friends, we’re putting ourselves in a glass vial of suffering that — while it may make us feel alive, makes us isolated beyond measure.

If I can offer any advice at this time: Resist going inwards to the point where no one knows where you’re at or how you’re feeling.

People out there love you.

Call them. Spend time with them. Drop the work that’s providing no answers right now — stop spinning your wheels. Drop the questions you have on your heart — and pick up a journal, the phone, your shoes (hope you found them) and go out and Be for a little while.

Numbing is the number one thing we tend to turn to during eclipse season.

Numbing… and isolation.

You can feel it, I know you can. You can feel the restless energy in the air.

Change is amongst us.

It’s not just you.

You’re not alone. But you have to share some part of your experience so you feel like there’s a connection between you and the rest of the world.

Even if it’s going to a café to write or journal or draw, or crochet. Go be in the world for a little bit.

It’ll help,

I promise.

❤ Kate
